Big Bend Park is located on the west side of the Hardy Dam backwaters. Hardy Dam is the third largest earthen filled dam in the world. There are 17 miles of waterway from Hardy Dam to Rogers Dam for recreational waterskiing, swimming, fishing or boating. This is a great area for camping, hiking and a brilliant view of the fall colors with the blue waters and the white sandy beaches. It's simply a breathtaking sight for the whole family to enjoy.

We are located about 25 minutes from Newaygo, Big Rapids and Fremont, and about 45 minutes north of Grand Rapids. Come on, take a ride, pack a picnic and visit us for the day. See some spectacular views and what is available in our area for your vacation all year long.

We have 225 plus campsites with 3 sections to choose from, 1 Cabin, Docks, Dump Station, 5 playgrounds,
4 service buildings (toilets and showers), 5 out johns (vault toilets), swim beach, pavilion,
horse shoe pits, grills, volleyball courts, 2- 1/2 basketball courts, boat launch and more,
